The disc thickener of Leizhan Company features a compact structure, high dewatering efficiency, simple operation and low maintenance cost. It can replace the traditional gravity circular screen thickener and is the preferred equipment for pulp washing, thickening and white water recovery systems in paper mills.

When the disc thickener is in operation, the pulp enters the tank from the feeding hopper and continuously accumulates on both sides of the sector plate through the partition. As the discs rotate, the slurry is carried to the surface of the screen. The filtrate flows into the main shaft through the water channel in the middle of the discs and is discharged. As the discs continue to operate, the slurry concentration in the tank keeps increasing. When the liquid level is higher than the liquid level adjustment plate, the pulp overflows into the discharge box, achieving the purpose of concentration. The spray device sprays high-pressure water at 0.3 to 0.4MPa to flush the filter screen, maintaining continuous filtration capacity.
