The upper part of the reject separator is a vortex chamber, and the lower part is a semi-circular screening area. Inside, there is a high-speed rotating rotor, on which axial sweeping blades and alternately arranged spiral sorting blades are welded.
After the pulp enters through the pulp inlet, the high-speed rotor performs a combined effect of slapping, scraping, tearing and peeling on the tailings. First, the tailings are thrown into the vortex chamber, and then scattered into the screening area to complete the separation process of fibers and impurities. Meanwhile, the nozzles above the rotor continuously spray water to dilute and wash the tailings, and rinse the rotor and the screen plate.
After repeated cycles of sorting, the good fibers separated pass through the sieve holes and are discharged from the pulp outlet at the bottom of the sieve plate. The plastic sheets and other impurities stripped off are rinsed and then discharged from the slag hopper and discarded as garbage.
