A typical single effect fiber separator mainly consists of the following components:
1. Shell: Typically made of wear-resistant steel, it forms the main structural body of the equipment, with internal design conducive to creating a stable swirling flow.
2. Rotor (Impeller): The core component, consisting of a main shaft and multiple blades, rotates at high speed to generate intense vortices and centrifugal force fields, responsible for pulp dispersion and impurity separation.
3. Sieve plate (sieve drum): Surrounding the rotor, the plate is perforated with holes of specific diameters. It serves as the key component for separating accept pulp from coarse pulp, with the hole size selected based on process requirements.
4. Feed inlet: Located at one end of the equipment, used for the input of slurry.
5. Accept pulp outlet: Located outside the sieve plate, it is used to collect the purified pulp that passes through the sieve plate.
6. Heavy impurity discharge outlet: Located at the bottom of the equipment, it is used to collect and discharge settled heavy impurities.
7. Light impurity/tailings discharge outlet: Located at the other end of the equipment, used for discharging light impurities and undissolved coarse fibers.
8. Transmission system: Includes components such as motors, pulleys, or reducers, providing power to the rotor.
