The Low Density Cleaner is a forward slag cleaner that uses the centrifugal principle to remove impurities in the pulp. It can be used in various pulp purification systems to remove heavy impurities such as sand, iron filings, dust and larger ink particles in the pulp.

The main function of the low density cleaner is to vibrate the impurities with heavy specific gravity to the outside of the vortex through the action of centrifugal force and gravity, and continuously discharge them downward along the wall of the container, while the pulp fibers with small specific gravity are discharged from the side of the container. The upper end is discharged to other pipe diameters.
